Windmill suffers fire damage at Locust Ridge Wind Farm

It looks like fireworks, but it’s a fire that damaged a windmill at the Locust Ridge Wind Farm in Schuylkill County.
It broke out Monday night in the center of the windmill’s three 133-foot blades at the farm near Mahanoy City.
Firefighters could only soak down the surrounding area with water to prevent it from spreading to the ground in the event of a collapse.
Nobody was hurt.The cause is under investigation. (see video at site below)
